The President’s Report

August 2010

 Hi everyone

Well my first meeting didn’t go down well {THANKS}
Hope the next ones run a bit smoother.
Sorry both Maree & myself are not here we are taking a short cruise but will be back for Sept. meeting.
In discusion with the committee & myself we have decided we  are going to change a few things at our meetings! IT IS A SOCIAL CLUB .
Not all like change but  with new committee & new ideas things have to change sometimes:
We are here for the same things to enjoy each others company & riding motorbikes so lets get on with it!!
See you all at the next meeting.
   Thank you
BOB (don’t let your lid skid)

The Secretary’s Report.

For this month’s report I would like to share with you some of our National President’s Report as written in the August Riding On:

“WE ARE ONE BUT WE ARE MANY”

“We join the Ulysses Club Inc. as one of 28,500 members and, having joined, it is then our choice if we wish to affiliate with one Branch or several Branches. There is no restriction in attending any function at any Branch in Australia.”

 The welcoming attitude and the love of bikes is what attracted me to this club in the first instance and the social interaction with like minded bike enthusiasts is what has kept me here.  I’ve made a lot of close friends and quite frankly I take pride in the small part I play in the running of our branch.  As Secretary of Central Coast Riders Branch I have made friends with members of our surrounding branches and have been welcomed by all. It seems that all you need is to be a member of Ulysses and you automatically find friends everywhere you go, and that is as it should be.

Cheers Shaz
